Karan Singh Grover is currently basking in the success of his blockbuster film Fighter. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film is receiving astonishing reviews from fans and critics. In a recent interview, Karan talked about his little fighter, who has survived due to her sheer ability to withstand pain.
In an interview, Karan shared how he had to leave his daughter just five days after she was born due to shooting for Fighter. Karan revealed how Devi was born with two holes in her heart and the doctors had to perform open-heart surgery on her. He said when Mamta (a member of the Marflix production house) got to know about it, she said that Devi is a fighter.
Reacting to her stance, Karan stated that he knew she was the littlest, smallest fighter that they had. Devi is a real fighter and faced a critical situation at a very young age.
Karan expressed how he and his wife Bipasha Basu dealt with the situation. The actor stated that he and Bipasha only got to know about this condition three days after her birth. Karan said how it requires immense strength to be a parent and deeply respects all the parents out there. It was a very difficult situation for him to stay put at that time.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover were blessed with a baby girl in November 2022. Bipasha has openly talked about how her daughter Devi underwent open-heart surgery at the age of three months. It was a heart-wrenching situation for them to get one’s child operated on at the right time and in the right place.
