Netizens finally got to see Karan Johar’s favourite ‘C’ word again in his most recent tweet. He responded to all the rumours and allegations of casting in the latest Sharan Sharma film that will be produced by Dharma Productions. The clarification came after many news reports went on to state that the movie will see Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri together for the first time.
Karan Johar stated in his tweet that the casting for the movie has not been locked yet. He also asked people to wait for the ‘official announcement’.
The tweet read, “There have been lots of speculations and conjectures on The casting of Sharan Sharma’s next film for @DharmaMovies… just want to specify that the cast of the film hasn’t been locked as the screenplay is being finalised as we speak…. please wait for an official announcement.”

Netizens trolled him mercilessly. They asked him why he was suddenly giving out statements when the rumours included Tripti Dimri and didn’t do the same with Alia Bhatt. Many went on to tell that they couldn’t care less and tweeted, “Kisi ko kuch padi nahi hai”.
Some also reminded Johar of the second wave of pandemic and blamed the Bollywood industry for underplaying the same to save their business. Many Twitter users responded to Karan’s tweet by asking for updates on Brahmastra, which will star Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
