In a recent talk session with Indian express Karan Johar expresses his excitement for the new season of Jhalak Dhikhla Ja where he will be seen in the judge seat. On being asked about the current scenario of industry, Karan shares his bold opinions.
The year 2022 seems not be a favourable one for Bollywood. Several films of superstars have fallen worse, the pace is at sloth, while the medium of television continues to be rated, unscathed from the ‘boycott culture’.
This arouses a question, if television is yet a ‘safe platform’ in present times; That when asked, Johar replied, ‘I think that you have to turn a blind eye towards negativity in general. I think if you are positive from within, you will only attract positivity. However, if you start listening and reacting to negative things, it will only bring the same energy. And hence, I have shut it out of life.’
‘I also believe that negativity should be justified. Jo galat hai, it deserves to be told off but you cannot do it for no reason. Hence, I just choose to focus only on positivity.’ KJo confesses.
‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ is once again heading to launch its new season after five long years back on television this weekend.
