Karan Johar recently shared his opinions on his Instagram story in response to a troll’s suggestion that he acquire a bahu for his mom’s time pass. KJo replied that he found statements like these to be the most “offensive” of all the responses. He captioned the Instagram story, “Firstly no “bahu” should be a time pass for anyone’s mother…a bahu is a label which comes with ridiculous regressive baggage..she is an individual in her own right and can pass her time how she likes personally and professionally.” He went on to write that his mother doesn’t need a time pass because she co-parents his children.

With Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar returned to directing for the first time in almost seven years. With the release of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the movie also commemorated his 25 years as a director. Starring in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani were Jaya Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Ranveer Singh, and Shabana Azmi. When the movie came out, it was a huge box office and critical hit.
