Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing severe backlash over his crass remark on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, and it seems that the controversy is going out of hand. The YouTuber made a comment about parents and sex, which stirred outrage online, and has resulted in several notable personalities reacting to it. In fact, Samay has now deleted all the episodes of his reality show from his YouTube channel, citing that the circumstances have been “too much to handle.” Amidst such intense situation, an old joke of Kapil Sharma about “Maa baap ki kabaddi” is going viral.
The throwback is from the days of Comedy Nights with Kapil, where the comedian is talking about two things that makes Indians go crazy – cinema and cricket. Speaking about the same, he shared how kids are ready to wake up at 4 am to watch cricket match, but would never do so for studies. He then exclaims, “Cricket ka match shuru hona that 4 baje, aur phir yeh maa baa ki kabaddi dekh ke so jaate hai (the match is to start from 4 am, so they watch their parents’ kabaddi and sleep).
