Kapil Sharma often takes a ride down memory lane and posts previously unseen images, much to the joy of his fans. Since overcoming several obstacles, the comedian actor rose to fame. On Wednesday, Kapil took to Instagram and posted a picture from around 23 years ago. Sharma is seen posing in the picture while everybody is laughing after a play. He also announced that he was in a play called ‘Azaadi.’
The comedian wrote, “Just found this 23 years old photo, it was just after finishing the performance of our play #Azaadi in the youth festival of Shri Guru Nanak Dev University. I removed my beard and clicked a photo with my colleagues.”
He added, “Clicking a photo was such a luxury in those days that I didn’t even realize gum is still there on my face. Missing those days, pockets were always empty but the smile was always there, just thought to share with you guys. Hope you all are well and safe. #staysafe #stayhome #old #memories #college #hinducollegeamritsar #gurunanakdevuniversity #gndu #gnduamritsar,” Kapil concluded.
Earlier, while discussing his struggle, the comedian told The Times of India, “I learned little about either Commercial Art or Computer Science. My father had been very ill at the time, and I asked my principal if I should teach theatre to earn money. That’s when I learned a lot as a teacher, as you learn a lot from students when teaching. I used to do histrionics and everybody will love it, so I somehow wanted to just get into the ‘Laughter Challenge’.”
