Comedian Kapil Sharma married to Ginni Chatrath three years ago. However, Ginni was displayed in a few reality shows before her marriage to Kapil. In fact, the duo used to do theatre together as well.
In a latest promo of his upcoming Netflix special Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet, Kapil can be seen revealing how he proposed to wife Ginni.
As he tells the audience, “One day, I had drunk Officer’s Choice (a whisky brand) when she called me. High thoughts! As soon as I picked up, I asked, ‘Do you love me?’ She was shocked and said, ‘What! Ye aadmi me himmat kaise aa gayi?’ I am thankful I didn’t drink toddy that day. Otherwise my question would have been, ‘Ginni tere papa ko driver chahiye?'”
“Kapil Shamra: ‘I am not done yet” comedy special to premiere on the OTT platform- Netflix from January 28.
Another side, producer Mahaveer Jain recently announced a Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directorial biopic on Kapil Sharma’s life journey, titled Funkaar.
