Kangana Ranaut’s Team calls Anurag Kashyap a lying joker, states, actress suggested Saandh Ki Ankh makers to hire seniors for the roles

Anurag Kashyap, on an interview in NDTV stated that, he had first offered the movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ to Kangana Ranaut, but the actress refused it. Later, Kangana’s team on Twitter claimed that Anurag never met her.

The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and other B-town celebs is known to everyone and is also in the recent charts of gossips. Everything began when the ‘Manikarnika’ actress had voiced her opinion against few people on an interview with Arnab Goswami on Republic TV. This led to  a series of reaction coming from celebs like Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhaskar, Taapsee Pannu and others.

Recently in an interview with NDTV, Anurag Kashyap revealed that the movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, was first offered to Kangana Ranaut. The actress had turned it down since she wanted both the characters of the film to be rewritten. The filmmaker also alleged that she asked him to make the characters young and a single character.  However, Kangana Ranaut’s team on twitter claimed that whatever Anurag Kashyap stated on the interview is totally rubbish as she had never met him to discuss about the movie. Further the team told that, Kangana had asked Anurag to approach senior actors for these roles.

In other tweet, Kangana’s team writes, “She sacrificed a good a script but their desperation ruined an opportunity of a good film about grandparents and senior actresses lost out on work who need to be seen by audiences in new light, shame on these jokers for spreading lies.” Earlier in his interview, Anurag Kashyap had further lashed out at Kangana stating that she took over film productions and hijacked the director’s chair.”

The biopic movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh” starred Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. It was directed by Tushar Hiranandani and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap. The movie went on to become a sleeper hit. The biographical drama was based on the lives of Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, two sharpshooters.
