It was during his talk show Koffee with Karan that Karan Johar had a dig taken at him for being the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’ and ‘movie mafia’ by Kangana Ranaut in 2017. And since then, Kangana has never held herself back from taking digs at him. She told him on the show that if a biopic was made based on her life, he would be the villain in the story.
However, during an interview recently, Kangana said circumstances have changed now, and her story would require something bigger than a ‘local villain’ like Karan. “Karan Johar is a local villain. If my biopic is made now, there will be a bigger villain. There are bigger villains in my life now,” said Kangana talking on The Lallantop’s YouTube channel. Kangana, now a politician has recently won the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
About the infamous episode of Karan Johar’s show, Kangana was asked as to how things unfolded after the shoot and the actor said that Karan “know what he has done.”
“He knows what he has done. He is very snooty, very classist and he was taken aback that I gave it back to him. Voh bhi ek waqt tha,” she said. Kangana was present on that episode with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to promote their Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Rangoon.
Meanwhile, the actress will be soon seen in Emergency.
