Kangana Ranaut recently opened up on if she is prepared to reconcile with filmmaker Karan Johar and Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. During an interview with New Indian, the actress stated that she has no animosity towards either of them and has made peace.
While she appreciates their work – Karan’s Shershaah and Diljit’s projects – she does not find any need to be friends with them. “I’m at peace with them. When I see great work coming from them, I’m open to appreciating it. But do I need to make them my friends or spend time with them? No, that’s not necessary,” stated the Queen actress.
Kangana’s disputes with both figures have been highly publicized. Her feud with the Punjabi singer began during the farmers’ protest in 2020, when she accused Diljit of instigating the protests and later vanishing from the scene. However, he claims were strongly countered by Diljit, who vocally continued supporting farmers.
Meanwhile, she locked horns with KJo in 2017, when she had labelled him as ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ during an episode on Koffee With Karan. While the filmmaker defended himself by claiming that he does launch new talent, but the actress kept criticizing him on social media, accusing him of promoting nepotism in Bollywood.
