We are always surprised with Kangana Ranaut’s candid revelations during her interviews. The actress has talked time and again about issues like ‘Bollywood mafia’, alleged lobbying the film industry, and the loss of opportunities due to the insecurities. Almost two decades into her acting career, the actress has been a part of some amazing movies.

In the recent interview, the Rangoon actress revealed how she faced the lowest phase of her career and the intense criticism she received. Speaking to India Today, Kangana considered the time when she moved to Mumbai in 2004 and did films like Gangster and Woh Lamhe in 2005. Her miscellaneous roles as a gangster, schizophrenic and drug-addict supermodel did give her appreciation, but even after receiving acknowledgement, she struggled for work.

The actress shared how she had to move to USA, where she had bought a house in Calabasas, hired an agent, and shot a short film. She blamed the system of film industry, which forces prominent talents like her to leave. However, it was the release of Queen in 2014 that completely transformed the fortunes of Ranaut. The actress believes that was the time when the audience wanted to see realistic stories on-screen and not the stories influenced by foreign elements.
