Kangana Ranaut is not the one to hold back her though as she has been bashing the so-called ‘Bollywood mafia’ and has also stated how she does not have many friends in the industry. Recently, in an interaction with the entertainment news portal Dainik Bhaskar, Kangana spoke about her initial days in the film industry. She said that she had come to Mumbai in 2004 to try her luck and had faced numerous failures before tasting success. Her debut film hit the silver screen in 2006, but for the next 8 to 10 years, she administered herself through a struggling period.

In 2014, once she achieved success, the scenario changed along with the character of her critiques. It started being said that she is from a small village and not of that social strata to deserve the success achieved. The actress claimed that some people labeled her as unprofessional and that something was wrong with her despite the long years of struggle.

The Panga actress also opened up about the troubles she went through personally during this time. She said people whom she broke up with years ago send her a legal notice for claiming false affairs with her. She alleged that the industry was also putting pressure on her, with people like Ketan Mehta and Karan Johar telling her to leave the industry. She said if a person is genuinely problematic, they would have those traits right from the start, which would not take years to surface. She said how full of jealousies and hatred the film industry is, quoted the tragic case of Sushant Singh Rajput, how a career can be destroyed.

Meanwhile, Kangana will be next seen in Emergency. The actress has directed the film, which also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Mahima Chaudhry.
