South superstar Kajal Aggarwal seems to make her comeback into Bollywood with her upcoming film “Uma”. The shooting of the film was recently completed which made Kajal a little emotional. While giving an insight about the film she said, “I’ve had a fabulous experience working on ‘Uma’. My director and all the artists and technicians were wonderful. There are certain characters that just stay with you and ‘Uma’ is going to leave me with a massive, beautiful hangover! This is one film which is all heart, I’m very excited about and will always cherish.”
The film was fully shot in various parts of Kolkata during the COVID times under strict guidelines. Kajal is main a South Actress but she always returns to Bollywood whenever she gets the perfect script. “Uma” has quality actors in its cast such as Tinnu Anand, Harsh Chhaya, Meghana Malik, Gaurav Sharma, Shriswara and Ayoshi Talukdar. The film is directed by Tathagata Singha and produced by Avishek Ghosh. Tathagata Singha is not a well-known face for many as he has not given any blockbusters till now. He was the second unit director in Rani Mukherji starrer Mardaani. Her first directorial was the 12 film anthopology “The Last Act” in 2012 in which he directed his piece named “Calcutta”.
Kajal on the other hand is on the top of her career. Her last big-ticket release was the John Abraham and Emran Hashmi starrer “Mumbai Saga” which was released on 19 March 2021. Often in her interviews, she has described her affection for Bollywood. Till then let’s wait to witness her next film “Uma”.
