Recently John Abraham tendered his strong reactions to the celebrities in the film industry who endorse gutka and paan masala products. To sum up, these commercials aren’t greeted with approval, overall. The fact that these endorsements were and still remain popular amongst fans of Bollywood movies has been a subject of heated debate, especially knowing that big shots like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have endorsed various products of these materialistic substances.

Even further in face of this criticism, Akshay went to the extent of disowning such kind of brand promotions and offering sorry to his fans. During John’s appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, he was annoyed with the hypocrisy of boffo actors, who are activists for people’s health and fitness, but who endorsed products like paan masala.

Dhoom star John Abraham made it clear that he would never wish to be in a position where he had to be involved in marketing death or violence and also pondered over the leadership role one takes in setting an example. He reiterated the fact that one should be honest in all facets of life, because if one attempt to pretend, others will through out, they will not allow it.

John Abraham added that he was not bringing criticism to other actors whom he appreciates a lot. These views were indeed partly personal.
