Pistol shooter Manu Bhaker came back to India after winning two historic medals at the Paris Olympics 2024. She has made history by being one of the few Indian athletes to bag two Olympics medals in single edition. Upon arriving in India, she met actor John Abraham, who shared the moment on his Instagram. However, their meeting has landed John into hot soup.
The actor took to Instagram to share a picture with Manu, wherein the two can be seen smiling for the camera. While Manu holds one of her medals, John can be seen holding the other one. The gesture of John holding the medal did not go down well among the netizens.
John had captioned the picture, “Had the pleasure of meeting @bhakermanu and her lovely family. She has made India proud!!! 🇮🇳 Respect.”
The candid moment between the two invited some negative comments on the actor’s post. One of the comments read, “Don’t touch the medal you imbecile. Dimaag ke liye bhi koi protein le le.” Another comment read, “all about movie release you don’t even have right to touch to the medal”.
Meanwhile, on the work front, John will be soon seen in Vedaa, which also stars Sharvari Wagh.
