Jasmin Bhasin is a popular face in the world of Hindi television shows, best known for playing Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq and Teni Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak. The actress had her debut with a Tamil Film namely Vaanam as Priya in the year 2011.
Thereafter, she comes into limelight after participating as a contestant in Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss 14. But recently a shocking news about her makes a headline that how she was horrified after receiving rape threats and death.
Jasmin unveils the news strikingly in a new interview during the promotions of her song ‘Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi.’ The actress manifests her mental condition after getting affected from and thus she took medical help to come out of it.
Speaking with News18, the Dil Se Dil Tak actress mentioned that earlier on getting eliminated from Bigg Boss house she was also got trolled and abused brutally. It’s a certain section of people who did not like her appearance in the show and as a consequence she received those death and rape threats. Jasmin stated “What I faced was very serious. All of that affected me mentally at some point. But I got over it with medical help and my friends and family who love me.”
The actress also happily affirms that these things no longer affect her as she had learnt to overcome about dealing with bullies and trolls. If people hate her that’s their choice but she will not be bothered at all.
On the workfront, Bhasin is working in collaboration with her rumoured boyfriend and close friend Aly Goni for the music video ‘Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi’, which is a recreation of RD Burman’s old iconic number. The singers are Shaan and Neeti Mohan and the lyrics are written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and Kunaal Vermaa. The song was released yesterday, 29th August on the Saregama Music YouTube channel.
