Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she has learned to speak up for herself after not being able to validate her feelings. In a recent interview with Film Companion, Janhvi opened up that she was just a teenager when morphed pictures of her were circulated over the internet.

Janhvi was unable to speak up anything during that time because she feared that people would think she was craving attention. However, now she can express her feelings without the slightest flicker of doubt.

The actress appreciated Rashmika Mandanna, who condemned the deepfake video of herself. Janhvi stated that she is a little apologetic where she comes from as there are bigger problems people have to deal with.

Janhvi further added that whatever she has faced in her life, she has looked over it as if it doesn’t matter. That resulted in her invalidating her feelings which eventually came across as being non-vocal about her feelings and thoughts. The actress said that she didnt wanted to seem imposing. Earlier she didn’t know if one can speak about deep fakes and altered images. She appreciates Rashmika for taking a stand on such matters.

The Bawaal actress expressed that she saw morphed images of herself while she was fifteen. Then however she has wondered if these things are a part of being a known personality. Janhvi thought that she couldn’t complain and it would come out as she was craving attention. She feels like it is her responsibility to make the most out of the opportunity that has been bestowed upon her by her mother Sridevi.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is gearing up for her Telugu debut Devara. She has wrapped up the shooting for Mr and Mrs Mahi.
