Actor Jamie Foxx suffered a medical emergency on April 11. Three weeks after his family revealed that he was hospitalised because of a medical condition, the actor posted on Instagram: “Appreciate all the love!!!” “Feeling blessed”
The daughter of the actor, Corinne Foxx, posted on Instagram on April 12 that her father had a medical difficulty the day before.
She wrote, “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday”. She also added, “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.” She did not specify what happened. The nature of Foxx’s medical crisis has not been revealed.
According to the New York Post, Jamie is still in the hospital in Georgia. But the actor took to social media to thank his fans and well-wishers for their love and support.
Just one day before he was rushed to the hospital, Jamie was photographed filming Back in Action with Cameron Diaz. After a brief hiatus, production resumed with his body double while he was bedridden.
He was in Atlanta filming the Netflix feature Back In Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz and Glen Close and is directed by Seth Gordon, Foxx’s Horrible Bosses co-writer.
Cloned Tyrone (which he is also producing), God is a Bullet, The Burial, Tin Soldier, and Groove Tails are among his upcoming projects. He is also working on a project called Geechee and will play a voice in the film Strays.
