There have been many new angles have come into the picture after a 4-member-team has been sent by Bihar Police to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Sushant’s family has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar and the investigation has accelerated ever since.. A four-member team has been sent from Bihar Police to Mumbai for investigation. The Mumbai Police is yet onboard with the case looking out for all aspects, the Bihar Police will be investigating for the charges of theft and abetment of suicide.
On 22nd July 2020, a silent online candlelight protest was organised where almost 2 million people joined in. Now, reportedly, Ishkaran Singh Bhandari has planned a second peaceful protest on 7th August 2020. Hindustan Times’ report says the lawyer has requested fans to light a candle and wear black bands on their foreheads. Moreover, if people want to hold posters and placards can do so as well. He said that the idea behind these protests is to channelise people’s anger and restlessness regarding Sushant’s suicide case.

Ishkaran told Hindustan Times, “People are worried, getting restless and angry, more so after the actor’s family lodged an FIR. We receive so many messages every day. To channel out their sentiment, I thought of starting this peaceful protest movement.” Several fans and members of the industry have been demanding CBI’s probe in the case. Actor Shekhar Suman and been vocal about his support since the first day. He said that Sushant’s fans are ready to come out on the streets but must not during the pandemic. “These protests pacify them in a way and also drives the message home that we all collectively want justice for Sushant,” he added.
Recently, Mumbai Police Commissioner said that they have fast-tracked the investigation and have recorded 56 people’s statements. There are also reports that Sushant had googled ‘painless death’ and ‘bipolar disorder.’
