Amid a wave of false death rumours surrounding veteran actor Dharmendra, his family has strongly refuted the claims, confirming that the beloved star is alive and responding to treatment.

Actress and politician Hema Malini took to social media to condemn the fake reports circulating online. In a heartfelt statement, she said, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Earlier, Esha Deol, Dharmendra’s daughter, also issued a clarification through Instagram, urging the media to verify facts before publishing sensitive information. She wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”

Among the rumours and online confusion, it has been confirmed that Dharmendra is still alive, and according to reports, he is under medical observation and on ventilator support as doctors continue his treatment.

Fans across the country have flooded social media with prayers and messages, hoping for the “He-Man of Bollywood” to recover soon. With an illustrious career spanning decades, Dharmendra remains one of Indian cinema’s most adored figures, remembered for his powerful roles in Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke.
