Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar’s wedding on Friday morning was followed by a reception party in the evening. The newlyweds cut a five-tier cake that had their initials ‘R’ and ‘D’ on it. The couple’s close friends from the industry were present for the party that includes Aly Gony, Jasmin Bhasin, Arjun Bijlani, Shweta Tiwari, Anushka Sen, and many others.
Disha was looking stunning in the shimmery silver saree, while Rahul opted for a black and white classic suit. The couple performed their first dance of the eve, on ‘Dekha Hazaron Dafa Aapko’, and showcased their amazing chemistry.
Later, the bride was seen wearing sneakers, while giving a rocking performance on the song, ‘Its the time to Disco’. All the performances were choreographed by Sumit Khaitan.
Talking about the dance preparations, Rahul had told IANS, “The experience has been positive because both of them are full of life. Rahul is very expressive and Disha is an amazing dancer. I must say they are quick learners. They have been very accommodating and sweet. They don’t have any tantrums and try to understand the options we give them. They are happy to understand what we want to teach them and are very comfortable and adjusting. They have really liked my choreography and said that it is catchy and cheerful, which is really encouraging.”
After the wedding, the couple had a conversation with the media in which they shared a fun incident about joote-chupai ritual and revealed that his own cousin betrayed him. According to Hindustan Times, Rahul said, “Usually love stories are very personal, but I am extremely happy that a lot of people from all over the country and even worldwide connected with our love story. Wherever I travel now, whoever clicks a picture with me, now says that please give our regards to Disha. It is like a blessing that people celebrate our love story as their own. I don’t think I can ask for anything more.”
Rahul-Disha’s wedding was one of the most awaiting celebrity weddings of this year. Several fan pages posted videos and pictures from the couple’s wedding and all of them went viral on the internet.
