The highly anticipated ODI World Cup match between India and Pakistan is already underway at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan.
After Babar Azam’s first fifty against India, Mohammed Siraj cleaned him up. In response, Arijit Singh, who performed before the India-Pakistan match, was seen joyfully rejoicing after the wicket.

Meanwhile, Shubhman Gill returned to the Indian squad lineup for the game against Pakistan in Ahmedabad, making his World Cup debut. The cricketer, who tested positive for dengue fever, has now taken Ishan Kishan’s place in the playing XI.
Talking about the same, Rohit Sharma said, “Gill is back in place of Ishan, unfortunate for Ishan to miss out, feel for him, he stepped up when we needed him. Gill has been a special player for us over the past year or so, especially at this ground and we wanted him back.”
