Actor Hrithik Roshan arrived at Mumbai Police Commissioner Office on Saturday, February 27th, to record his statement with his connection with the 2016 complaint that someone was impersonating the actor and had been sending emails to the actor Kangana Ranaut, using fake mail ID.
Hrithik Roshan had sent a legal notice to Kangana Ranaut following a public fight on social media wherein the latter referred to him as ‘silly ex.’ Further, he had also denied having any relationship with her and claimed that Kangana had sent pointless and silly emails. Following this, Hrithik filed a complaint alleging that someone has been impersonating him and had been sending emails to Kangana Ranaut.
For further investigation, the Cyber Cell had taken Hrithik’s laptop and phone for investigation. In December last year, Hrithik Roshan’s lawyer had approached Mumbai Police regarding the fake email ID case after which it was transferred to Crime Intelligence Cell.
