The popular television programme Mahabharat, which most Indians watched growing up, is about to make a comeback! Along with the eighth season of Koffee With Karan and a brand-new show called Showtime, the Mahabharata adaption was one of three Indian releases that were announced at the D23 Expo. Madhu Mantena, Mythoverse Studios, and Allu Entertainment will produce Mahabharat. In response to this revelation, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has praised the production team for reaching a larger, worldwide audience.
Hrithik Roshan posted images of the Mahabharat concept art that Disney+ Hotstar had just released on Twitter. He shared the pictures and said that there was no better moment or location to tell the narrative to the world. He continued by congratulating Madhu Mantena and the Mahabharat cast as a whole.

Madhu Mantena, while sharing the concept art of Mahabharat on Instagram, wrote, âThe greatest epic ever written- retold at a scale never seen before! Stay tuned for an ethereal spectacle- #Mahabharat, is coming soon only on @disneyplushotstar.â
The Hindu epic Mahabharat has been adapted for television on several occasions, but BR Chopra’s adaptation continues to be the most well-liked one. The television adaptation of Mahabharat by BR Chopra, which was a big hit for Doordarshan, broadcast between 1988 and 1990. The epic was also reimagined by Siddharth Kumar Tewary for television in 2013, with Shaheer Sheikh, Saurabh Raj Jain, Pooja Sharma, and others on the cast.
