Hina Khan reveals Kushal Tandon always had to be taught something or the other, On Unlock Sets!

Actress Hina Khan is all excited for her new digital release, Unlock. The movie is going to be a thriller and its promos have been winning the hearts of netizens, who can’t keep calm anymore. The digital rights of the film is with ZEE5. Kushal Tandon is co-starring with Hina in the film, it’s the first time both the actors have teamed up for a project.

The former Bigg Boss contestant has been a part of a popular TV show in the past., now her friends can’t wait to see her exploring digital platforms.

In an interview with Koimoi, Hina talked about her new release in utmost detail. When asked about the movie and if OTT platform is where the actress sees herself for successive years, Hina said, “The theme of Unlock focusses around the dark side of the web world. While we have seen a lot of this genre as an essential part of the content in the west, this is the very first time that the Indian OTT space will be showcasing a film which revolves around the concept of the dark web. I am personally very excited that such a film is going to be a part of the OTT space, and the teaser was received very well by the audiences, so I am now eager to know the response the main film gets.”

She added, “I have been repeatedly putting it out there that in the Indian OTT space, this is the first time that such a genre has been explored, which I am really looking forward to!”
The actress also disclosed that she has always loved watching horror, suspense and thriller films, and she feels that this genre is something people will surely enjoy. The actress believes that this is the perfect time for her film to be released because it gives people options by being different to be watched in this phase.

While sharing about her experience of working with Kushal Tandon, Hina said, “Kushal is a very fun-loving guy, very nice and straight forward. I really enjoyed working with him! He was very respectful towards me and even called me ‘Teacher’ on the sets, because I would always correct him and try to teach him things here and there because that’s just me being me! Though he always took it very sportingly, and he was a true gentleman and a nice co-actor to work with.”

The actress also talked about her future. Hina said that after being part of the longest-running daily soap on Indian Television, reality shows, short films, web shows, music videos, theatrical feature film, now she is ready to explore the digital space. She believes that she has ticked off nearly everything on the list, but there is more that the world holds for her. So, she will be experimenting around in the digital space, because that is where the majority of the content is going to be showcased now.
