Hina Khan reacts to beau Rocky Jaiswal’s comments on Sonam Kapoor’s Father’s Day post

With Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise, the whole debate over ‘nepotism’ was reignited and the social media is in turmoil from the last few days. In this row, Sonam Kapoor’s Father’s Day post didn’t go down well with many. Her motor-mouth and strong opinions landed her in yet another controversy. When she talked about her ‘privilege and karma’ many users on Twitter trolled her and found her tweet distasteful. Hina Khan’s beau Rocky Jaiswal also voiced his opinions and expressed his displeasure. Taking to his Twitter handle, Rocky had mentioned that he expected better from the Veere Di Wedding actress.

He tweeted, “So, every individual who’s been denied d opportunity they deserved bcoz of #Privileges n #Nepotism deserved it for their ‘Karma’ in the past life? By that logic, I can’t begin to imagine ur next life @sonamkapoor! Respectfully M’am, I expected better from U given ur fathers BG.”

And for all those who are clueless about what did Sonam actually tweeted on Father’s day that received criticism and flak online, then check out what she said, “Today on Father’s Day id like to say one more thing, yes I’m my father’s daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud.” Later the actress deleted her post.

Now, in an interview with Zoom Digital Hina Khan expressed her opinions on the same, and it’s all together contrary to her boyfriend.

According to her, boyfriend Rocky is a different individual who has a different account than hers and he is free to express his opinions on whatever he likes. Hina stated that she will reach out on her Twitter handle to express her perspective on the same, but at the end she said that she is not in the position to judge someone or to comment on anyone’s opinion.

She said, “I have been always vocal whenever or if I have to say something, I would also speak and tweet about it. See, that is his perspective, and we are two different individuals. He has his own Twitter account from where he tweets. He tweets whatever he feels right. That is his personal call. He spoke whatever he felt was right. I am nobody to judge and give judgment on that. He did whatever he felt was right, and he wrote what he felt what was right.”
