The Asia Cup 2023 Super Four ODI between India and Pakistan was one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the weekend. India performed incredibly well, especially KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Anushka Sharma supported husband Virat Kohli during India’s Asia Cup 2023 Super Four ODI match against Pakistan. She posted a screenshot of Kolhi’s century on her Instagram Story along with the caption, “Super knock, super guy.”
In another Instagram story she also congratulated KL-Rahul.
KL Rahul made an amazing comeback during the game and the batsman hit a century. His wife, star Athiya Shetty, posted a loving tribute to her husband and penned a heartfelt note on his performance on Instagram.
Athiya shared a video of the match and wrote, “Even the darkest night will end and the sun will riseâ€ae You are everything, I love you.#1 (sic)” Here’s the post:
On Monday, September 11, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul broke the record for the highest partnership in Asia Cup history. In the Super Four encounter against Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the pair combined for 233 runs.
They surpassed the record set in 2012 by Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed. At the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Hafeez and Jamshed put up an opening wicket partnership of 224 runs against India.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen as a cricketer in Jhulan Goswani’s biopic, ‘Chakda ‘Xpress.’ The actress revealed in an interview, that she has been preparing for the role past many years.
