1. Ranveer Singh

From storming the box office with hit films like Bajirao Mastani and Gully Boy to seeking a hit following the failure of his three films, Ranveer has appeared to lose his status as one of the industry’s highest-paid performers. The versatile actor has reportedly decided to decrease his compensation to Rs 30 crore each film, down from Rs 40 crore previously.

2. Shahid Kapoor

Right from his debut movie Ishk Vishk, Shahid has come a long way in his acting career. The actor who worked continuously in flops like Jersey and Rangoon has reduced his fees from 40 crores to 25 crores. However, the Kabir Singh actor has recently returned to the spotlight for his OTT debut Farzi. This Amazon Prime series has gotten a lot of accolades for its storyline and performance.

3. Varun Dhawan

Govinda of the modern day! From playing a privileged brat in SOTY to playing a revenge-hungry adolescent in Badlapur, the actor has proven that he’s here to stay! Despite having very few flops in his filmography, the actor has reduced his compensation, according to Umair. The Bhediya actor, who used to charge Rs 30 crores for his projects, is now charging Rs 20 crores.

4. Kriti Sanon

She is one of Bollywood’s most popular actresses, best known for her diverse performances in films such as Bareilly Ki Barfi and Mimi. The actress’ most recent box office success was Housefull 4, which was released in 2019. Following that, Kriti appeared in films such as Panipat, Bachchhan Paandey, Bhediya, and Shehzada. Sadly, none of them fared well at the box office. Kriti, who typically demands Rs 8 crore for her films, has recently reduced her fee to Rs 5 crore.

5. Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi, dubbed the “OTT queen of Bollywood,” has had several digital releases. Janhvi has appeared in six films to date. “Dhadak,” “Roohi,” and “Mili” were theatrical releases, while “Gunjan Saxena,” “Ghost Stories,” and “Good Luck Jerry” were direct OTT releases.
