With a villain who keeps her co-stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan on their toes in the Netflix espionage thriller Heart of Stone, Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is poised to captivate hearts in her Hollywood debut. In Sao Paulo, Brazil, late on Saturday night, Bhatt revealed the Heart of Stone movie’s first trailer with Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Jamie Dornan (Belfast).
Alia took to Instagram and shared a series of pictures wearing a green outfit and wrote, “Obrigado Brazil… thank you for all the love! You have my (heart emoji) #Tudum.” The final picture in the post featured Jamie, and a section of netizens mistook him for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Tom Harper is in charge of directing Heart of Stone, which will make its Netflix debut on August 11. Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder wrote the screenplay.
Bhatt posted the Heart of Stone trailer to social media with excitement. The 30-year-old posted on Twitter, “HEART OF STONE. August 11. @Netflix @NetflixIndia #Tudum.”
The principal character in the movie, played by Gadot’s Rachel Stone, an elite MI6 squad led by lead agent Parker (Dornan), appears to be an inexperienced tech.
“What her MI6 team doesn’t know is that Stone actually works for the Charter — a covert peacekeeping organisation, secret even from other spies, which uses cutting-edge technology to neutralise global threats.
“Rachel has been trained to be the consummate professional: a phenomenal field agent who sticks to the mission, follows the numbers and trusts no one,” said Netflix in a press release.

And it is the Heart, the most valuable and dangerous asset, that gives the Charter its power.
“It can crash a market or drop a plane out of the sky. If you own the Heart, you own the world,” says a character in the trailer of Heart of Stone.
Bhatt, star of Indian films such as Raazi, RRR, and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, plays Keya Dhawan, a hacker who “breaches” the security to steal the Heart and demands the Charter, the organisation, to “answer to me”.
“You think you know everything but the world is about to see the truth,” says Keya (Bhatt) in the trailer.
The streamer claimed that Stone’s humanity may end up being her greatest strength as she fights to defend the Charter and overcome the difficulties.
The makers of Heart of Stone include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger of Skydance, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird, and Gadot and Jaron Varsano’s Pilot Wave company.
Executive producers include Patty Whitcher, Rucka, and Harper. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English.
