Indian cricketers and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra have been blessed with a baby boy, and the cricketer took Twitter to share this news with his fans. On Saturday, the 41-year-old wrote, βA new little hand for us to hold, his love is grand, precious as gold. A wonderful gift, so special and sweet. Our hearts are full, our lives are complete. We thank the almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy. Both Geeta and the baby are doing well. We are overwhelmed by joy and would like to extend our gratitude to all our well-wishers for their constant love and support.” Expressing his feeling about becoming a dad again, Singh wrote, βBlessed with a baby boy #grateful #babyboy. shukar aa Tera maalka”.

Soon after the announcement went live, wishes began pouring in for the couple. Among the several comments, Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan wished the new parents and said, “Pajhi bahut bahut Mubarak. (Big congratulations, brother)”.
Earlier this year, Geeta Basra had posted a series of photos on Instagram to reveal that the couple was expecting their second child soon. The post was captioned, “Coming soon… July 2021.”
Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra tied the knot in October of 2015; the couple became parents to a daughter, Hinaya Heer Plaha, in July of 2016.
