Surekha Sikri is a well-known name for all Indian TV viewers as well as cine-goers. Known for her roles in movies such as Badhai Ho and TV serials like Balika Vadhu, she is a legend when it comes to acting. She has worked extensively from the 1970s to 1980s with various directors.
But one thing most people don’t know about her is that she is related to the versatile actor Naseeruddin Shah. The actor, who has married twice, was married to a woman named Manara Sikri earlier. She was the step-sister of Surekha Sikri.
Manara was older than Naseeruddin by 14 years but despite all opposition, the two married and has a daughter named Heeba Shah. Heeba has made a brief appearance in the show Balika Vadhu. She played the role of Dadisa.
