Partralekha, who is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer was born on 20th February, 1990. Patralekha’s family wanted her to be a Chartered Accountant, but she always admired to be an actress.
The actress started her acting journey by doing a crash course of acting from Barry John’s acting school. She started from few commercials for big brands like Blackberry, and Tata Docomo.
She did her Bollywood debut with film City Lights in 2014 with Rajkumar Rao. In the film Rajkummar and Patralekha played the role of a poor couple living in Rajasthan who shift to Mumbai for better living. She later did films such Love Games, Nanu ki Jaanu and Where is My Kannadaka.
Other than this, the actress has also done various web series.
Patralekha tied knot to Rajkumar Rao on 15th November, 2021. Patralekha said, “When we started working together, it was like magic. The kind of passion he had was like a power. I couldn’t have respected more than that. We talked about our work, love and passion for films. I have seen his struggles he never gives up. How did we not love each other?” Rajkumar Rao further said, ”I still remember when I saw you in the ad and was stunned. I thought one day I’d meet this girl. It is luck or the time cycle that I met you only after a month. We have been together for so many years, yet it seems that we have just met. You are the sweetest and strongest girl I have met. Let’s make memorable moments together.”
Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha started dating in 2010. They fell in love with each other and decided on forever.
