Aamir Khan who is also known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood’, clocks a year older today March 14. The 57-year-old star through his career spanning over 30 years, has cemented himself as one of the prominent and significant actors of Indian cinema. It is also said that he is one of the highest paid actors, who prefers to make things just right in his own way. Aamir Khan starrer film PK faced various controversies for its nude poster featuring the lead actor. Another side, the wrath of few Hindutva groups who claimed that it hurt their religious sentiments. PK was also accused of propagating ‘love-jihad’ because of a romantic angle between the characters of Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput in the film. There were several protests by activists of the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad in different states that includes Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal, Agra and Ahmedabad.

2. Rangeela-

Rangeela is a 1995 romantic comedy film written, directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. For the unversed, the director was quoted in an interview as saying that a waiter in the film did better acting than Aamir. It created a lot of noise back then and it is also said that due to such inconvenience the duo never worked together again.

3. Rang De Basanti-

In one clip of Rang De Basanti, it was displayed that Indian Air Force pilot Abhijeet Gadgil was killed when his plane crashed. And then one of the controversies aroused as producers did not show Abhijeet’s mother Kavita Gadgil the film that was loosely based on her son’s life.
