Actor Govinda was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Sunday. His wife Sunita has stated that he is only having ‘very mild symptoms’. The actor is quarantining in his Mumbai house.
Sunita herself tested COVID-19 positive and has recovered from the same recently. “We got the report today only and Chichi’s (Govinda) report came positive. He is doing fine, has very mild symptoms, and has quarantined at home and we are constantly in touch with the doctor who is guiding us and keeping an eye on his symptoms,” she added.
She also said that everyone, including the staff at home, has tested negative. “After him testing positive, we all got ourselves tested and everybody at home has tested negative, including the staff,” she said.
Govinda was last seen in the 2019 movie Rangeela Raja. He often appears as a guest on various reality shows.
