Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’ is all set for its trailer release on Tuesday, March 23rd. Ahead of it, the actor has shared some of her pictures from the set. They give a glimpse of the massive transformation in weight that she had undergone.
Kangana will play the role of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa who was an actor before she entered politics. The movie will show her journey from movies to being the CM. The pictures Kangana shared on social media shows her in retro outfits as well as in the iconic CM look.
Kangana also talked about how weight loss was not the only challenge she faced. “One day to go for the trailer launch of #Thalaivi Gaining 20 kgs and losing it all back within few months wasn’t the only challenge that I faced while filming this Epic Biopic, the wait is getting over just in few hours Jaya will be your forever (sic),” she added.
The trailer will release on Tuesday, March 23rd, which is also the actor’s birthday.
