3. Welcome to the Jungle
Welcome is back and this time Akshay Kumar will be taking the lead. The film revolves around two police officers Jay Bakshi and Sandhya, who are given a task to catch the culprit Raj Solanki. However, the story takes an interesting turn when Jay gets to know that Raj plays a crucial role in his life. The cast features Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Disha Patani. It is slated to release on the 20th of December.
4. Veer Daudle Saat
Akshay Kumar will be debuting in the Marathi cinema with this upcoming film. He will be playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja and the movie will rightfully showcase the Maratha culture. It will explore the ground reality of warriors and their inner turmoil while fighting for people. The film is slated to release on the 8th of November. It is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
5. S Sankaran biopic
The film follows the story of the terrible events that occurred in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The production of the film has begun, but no official release date has been released. Reportedly R Madhavan has joined the cast, he will also have a crucial part in the period drama. The film features Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey and R Madhavan. It is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions.
