Vicky will be playing the role of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the period drama. While Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The shooting for the same began in September 2023.
2. Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam
Mere Mehboob Mere Saman is an upcoming romantic-comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Triptii Dimri, Neha Dhupia and Ammy Virk in key roles. It is slated to release in 2024.
3. Takht
Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht stars Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. It is a period drama film set in the backdrop of the Mughal Empire. As of now, no tentative release dates have been released.
