Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has found herself in trouble after a multi crore cheque bounce. According to a report published by an entertainment media, a petition has been filed by an investor in Jharkhand High court. After listening to all the parties in the case, the court directed both parties to have a written response ready in two weeks, considering the seriousness of the case. The petition was heard in the Jharkhand High Court by Judge Anand Sen.

As per the details revealed, in 2017 Ameesha met this investor Ajay Kumar Singh during an event. The actress gave an offer to the investor for investing in her upcoming movie. After which he invested 2.5 crores by transferring it directly into Ameesha’s account. But now it’s been more than 4 years and there isn’t any movie prepared. Further, according to the petitioner this was a fake proposal made by Ameesha and no movie was made. 

Furthemore, Ajay did ask Ameesha for returning the money after which she gave him a cheque of 2.5 crore. But the cheque which he received got bounced and a penalty was issued by the bank. A case of  fraud has been registered  by the petitioner. The case is currently being heard in a Jharkhand high court through a virtual hearing.
