The Bigg Boss 14 finalist Rakhi Sawant has landed in legal trouble. Rakhi Sawant and her brother Rakesh Sawant have been in the news since a long time, especially after the former entered the Bigg Boss 14 house. Bigg Boss 14 fame Rakhi Sawant continues to hit the headlines even after the popular reality show ended last month.
A FIR has been lodged against Rakhi Sawant and her brother Rakesh Sawant at Vikaspuri police station in Delhi. Apart from the siblings, Raj Khatri has been named in the FIR. The complaint has been emerged from a 2017 case.
Shailesh Srivastava, a retired bank employee, had met Rakhi Sawant’s brother Rakesh Sawant, through his friend Raj to start a business. Shailesh’s friend , Raj Khatri arranged the meeting. In the meeting, the two decided to produce a film based on Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s life. Apart from making the film, Rakesh Sawant and Shailesh were also planning to open a dance institute in Vikaspuri, Delhi.
According to the the FIR filed, Rakesh Sawant assured Shailesh that Rakhi is going to be a part of the institute and Rakesh Sawant and Raj took Rs.6lakh from Shailesh and gave him a post dated cheque of Rs.7lakh. However, on reaching the bank , Shailesh found out the cheque ,which later bounced because of wrong signatures. Since the signatures in the agreement itself were wrong, it became invalid. Apparently, Shailesh reportedly called Rakesh many times, but never received a response. He then decided to lodge an FIR with the police.
Both Rakhi Sawant and her brother Rakesh Sawant have not reacted or given an official word about this matter.
