An FIR has been filed against Bhushan Kumar, the Managing Director of T-Series at Mumbai’s D N Nagar police station. The complaint comes after a woman’s claim that she was allegedly raped by Bhushan Kumar on the pretext of giving her a job in one of his upcoming projects. The woman said that the producer offered her a 3-movie deal, as he saw “a lot of potential” in her. The woman was then asked to meet him at a bungalow in Versova and she claimed that Kumar was “looking for a relationship that involves work and pleasure.” The tweets also stated that she was offered a proposal which stated that he will make her a “superstar”.

According to the reports CNN-NEWS18, Mumbai Police has confirmed that “A case of rape under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). We are still investigating the matter”. A senior police officer addressed the matter on the condition of anonymity. As of now, no arrests have been made.
The woman is 30-year-old and Mumbai Police looks forward to questioning and recording the statement of Bhushan Kumar who hasn’t reciprocated the allegation until now.
