After having a heart attack at about 4:15 pm today, legendary filmmaker Sawan Kumar Tak died away. According to reports, he was hospitalised on August 24 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Multiple organ failure was the cause of the film director’s death.
Sawan Kumar Tak’s debut film was “Naunihal,” which was released in 1967. The late actor Sanjeev Kumar played the lead in the movie. Along with him, renowned actors Balraj Sahni and Indrani Mukherjee also had significant parts in the movie.
Salman Khan expressed his sincere condolences to the late filmmaker on Instagram. He shared a picture of himself and Sawan Kumar Tak on social media with the message, “May u rest in peace my dear Sawaan ji. Have always loved n respected u”.
