Fatima Sana Shaikh is all set for the premiere of her first short format project Ajeeb Daastans. Movies such as Ludo and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, which had released back-to-back last year, had garnered her much appreciation. After such a busy year, she will now be seen in Ajeeb Daastaans on Netflix.
“When I was offered Ajeeb Daastaans, I was keen on doing it because I had never been a part of short-format storytelling. I liked the idea behind this one as it was a very challenging character. More so, I have always loved watching this format of content. I am excited about this project and to see how people respond to it. I had a great experience working with Shashank sir and Jaideep. They’re both extremely talented and I learned a lot while shooting this film,” she said about her next project.
Her strong and commendable performances to date have been loved by fans and critics alike. She has played some unconventional roles beautifully. Her characters have varied from playing a wrestler in Dangal to a mother who is not afraid to use a gun in Ludo.
Ajeeb Daastans will mark her first project of the kind as she has been seen only in long format projects till now. She also has many other movies lined up such as the remake of Tamil film Aruvi and Thar alongside Anil Kapoor.
