Fashion Faceoff: Cardi B’s Met Gala outfit strikes shocking resemblance to Natasha Poonawalla’s attire from an event

American rapper and television personality Cardi B marked her presence on the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where attendees dressed as per the theme ‘in honor of Karl’ which aims to pay tribute to the legacy of the late great designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Cardi B was seen wearing a structured ballgown by Chenpeng Studio, which began with a white shirt collar and tie before transitioning into a fitted black sweetheart bodice adorned with silver studs. The full black skirt featured a quilted overlay a la Chanel’s Boy Bag and wad covered in huge sculptural rosettes.

Cardi added matching black opera gloves, while wearing statement pearl and silver earrings. She traded her black hair for a chic silver toned bob with flipped ends toed with a leather hairband. Cardi B was looking extremely beautiful in her attire.

However, four days back Indian businesswoman, chairperson of Villoo Poonawalla Foundation and the executive director of the Serum Institute of India, Natasha Poonawalla was seen wearing the same attire worn by Cardi B on the Gala night. Although the white collar shirt and the black opera gloves weren’t part of Natasha’s look but other than those two things and the hairstyle, the remaining attire looks same.
