After a sabbatical of 14 years, Fardeen Khan has finally made a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Back in 2016, Fardeen was heavily trolled for his looks. Later, the actor underwent an extensive body transformation before his return to Bollywood.
The actor recently opened up on about being trolled for gaining weight and how he managed to deal with it.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Fardeen shared that he remained thick skinned amid the online trolling, which was after his images of gaining weight had gone viral.
Recalling his challenging time, Fardeen said, “It was a revelation of sorts. It was like, ‘Wow, it can go to this extent’. Of course, it was tough.”
While talking about his learning from the showbiz, the actor shared that the industry teaches you to have a thick skin, and at times one has to take a knocks at his chin, before questioning the importance of opinions shared by others.
