In an interview with Digihunt, the actress was asked about the beginning of her career and struggles that she underwent after she lost her father, Mahima replied, “It started at the age of nine and I wouldn’t like to call it struggles, but battles. I think irrespective of our professions we all have our battles to fight with.” She added, “Gave a lot of auditions when I wasn’t even in decisive state that this is where I belong to and this is what I want to do. Somehow I just gave a try because it was somewhere inherently in me because I was also good at stage shows and my mom thought why not give this a try? So, there was always a balance between my school and my auditions.”
