Evan Peters has bagged an Emmy in the category of ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series’ for his role in HBO’s ‘Mare of Easttown’.
The American actor acted in the shoes of Detective Colin Zabel who is summoned to the county detective to aid the character of Mare depicted by Kate Winslet.
Not only that but Peters won an award for his role in ‘Mare of Easttown’ at the Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards.
The American crime drama is a limited series helmed by Brad Ingelsby for HBO. Actress Winslet is starred as the main character in the show which is evident in it’s title Marianne Sheehan’, a detective investigating a murder in a small town near Philadelphia.
Other stars like Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Sosie Bacon and David Denman also appeared in supporting roles.
The initial comments of his speech were bleeped out but later the American horror story actor seemed to express his gratitude towards his parents for getting him to LA and promised them a drink. Peters concluded by thanking the cast and crew of Mare of Easttown and said thank you to “Kate Winslet for being Kate Winslet!” as his last statement before getting off the stage.
