Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling had a mutual agreement the actress will give up her acting career post having children, in order for her stay at home with them.
During her appearance on Today show, the actress stated, “It was almost just like a non-verbal agreement that it was like ‘Ok, he’s going to work and I’m going to work, I’m just going to work here’.”
The Hitch actress, who share two daughters – Esmeralda and Amada – with Ryan, shared that it was a “no brainer” for her to put her Hollywood ambitions on hold as she spent more time with her daughters.
She remarked that she considers herself lucky to be able to “have this time [her] children.”
Eva also clarified that she still has a career but is no longer acting since embracing motherhood.
