PinterestTiger 3 is doing wonders at the box office. The Maneesh Sharma directorial has been highly appreciated by the fans for its killer plot and character development. Emraan Hashmi, who is playing the role of antagonist is likely to have a raging action-packed scene with Salman Khan.
The Murder star is credited by the audience for his incredible performance in Tiger 3. But before choosing the role of being a villain, Emraan had certain reservations. He was sceptical about playing the negative part in the film.
In a recent interview the actor revealed that he was doubtful about accepting the role as he has never played a villain in his entire acting career. He said, “I was honestly a little sceptical, because when you hear the word ‘antagonist’, certain preconceived notions emerge in your mind. I’ve generally played positive characters, some grey characters,” as reported by ANI.
Emraan further added that the character demanded certain distinct features and attention to detail in specific areas. That was the reason he opted for playing the antagonist on Tiger 3.
When asked about working with Salman Khan, Emraan said that he is fond of me and even I am fond of him. He has known Khan for quite some time and wasn’t intimated to share screen with Bhaijaan. He shared that the intimidation has happened when he has worked with Amitabh Bachchan.
Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and features Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in key roles. The film has recorded a Rs 187 crore collection in just 5 days of its release at the box office. Looking at the success trajectory, it seems like the movie will cross the 200 crore benchmark.
