Emma Stone is feeling regretful!

The Oscar-winning actress has confirmed that while there is no bad blood between her and her longtime friend Taylor Swift, she has confirmed that she won’t be poking fun at her again, after what happened at Golden Globes in January.

For the unversed, the actress faced backlash online when she called the singer an “a–hole” backstage in an interview with Variety alongside Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos.

“I definitely won’t make a joke like that again,” said Emma. “Because I saw headlines that really pulled it out of context.”

The duo made headlines when their friendship was put on display when the La La Land actress took home Golden Globe’s Best Actress trophy for her role in Poor Things. When the actress’ name was announced, the ‘Lover’ singer and her friend Keleigh Sperry gave the actress a standing ovation.

When asked about the support she received, the actress joked, “What an a–hole, am I right?” Emma added that she was happy that her pal was present in the audience as she got the award.

The pair have been close pals ever since their paths first crossed back in 2008 at the Young Hollywood Awards.
