Priyanka Chopra chose to spend her Sunday with daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas instead of attending her cousin Parineeti Chopra’s wedding. She took to Instagram to share a photo of them spending the day in their Los Angeles mansion’s pool.
On Instagram Stories, Priyanka posted a photo taken by her friend Akari. Akari originally shared the photo on her Instagram profile, but it was later removed. It featured Priyanka in a pool, wearing a green bikini top and throwing Malti into the air. The child was likewise decked up in swimming gear. Priyanka did not provide a caption with the photo.
Fans of the actor found the photo cute. “Mommy and daughter playtime,” wrote a fan. Another commented, “Wonder where this is? Such a doll.” The picture was clicked at Priyanka and husband Nick Jonas’ home in Los Angeles.
Priyanka preferred to spend time with Malti rather than attend Parineeti’s wedding. She, on the other hand, blessed Parineeti and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, in Parineeti’s Instagram post with their first official wedding photos. “My blessings always,” she wrote.
Priyanka did not attend the wedding, but she did attend Parineeti’s engagement ceremony in Delhi in May. Priyanka’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, was questioned by paparazzi in Udaipur, where Parineeti and Raghav tied the marriage. She stated that Priyanka was working in Los Angeles.
Priyanka was most recently seen in Richard Madden’s Prime Video series Citadel. The programme received negative reviews and received little attention. A second season, however, has already been announced.
Heads of State, in which she co-stars with John Cena and Idris Elba, and Jee Le Zaraa, in which she co-stars with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
In a recent interview, director Farhan Akhtar stated that the shoot had been delayed due to the Hollywood strike. “We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see,” Farhan told Variety.
